For
those who still don't know, Dj Ruffneck is back under
a
different a different name, got a new distribution and ditched
some
of his producers. Don't worry, the quality is still there
as
the E.P. shows.
Two
tracks on the slow and dark tip both are excellent,
really
original ideas nice noises and totally darkish vocals.
These
tracks are as progressive as it can get, definitely
not
commercial and pushing boundaries. If you don't buy
this
one, shame on you!!! Respect is once again due...

The
A side has two fast tracks which surprised me
in
a good way. The viper mix got fast breakbeats,
nice
juno melody and then breaks into a (very) long
ice-T
bit. Nice track but the Dj promo mix is even
better
and a bit faster. After a very ruffneck sounding
into,
the track drops into a wicked juno bit but the best
part
is still to come...The track then breaks into an old
skool
hip hop part (and i mean old skool !!!) After this
hell
breaks loose as a very aggressive noise comes in
and
the tracks just builds up and up!!! A very very good
good
remix for Dj promo. On the flipside You'll find a
slow
track that samples Busta Rhyme's 'Woo-Ah'.
If
you like hip-hop, you'll love this release, if not stay
away
from it.......

Once
again Attic and Stylzz deliver the goods.
This
E.P. has got 5 tracks on. The best one for me
is
'Store and forward', after an electro (!) intro, a
very
phat bass drum comes in, the track then breaks into
the
main noise which is very good. The second track,
'Chemically
infected' also has an Electro intro, good
breakbeat
programming and an aggressive stab noise.
The
production is as always brilliant. The other tracks
are
all in the now typical Attic and Stylzz style and if
you
liked their previous releases, you'll love this E.P....

Back
to my homeland of Belgium for this release
straight
from Antwerpen. The main track of this E.P.
is
already a big hit. It's totally commercial but if you like
this
kind of stuff you'll like it very much. What makes this track
successfull
is a sing along part close to a Suzanne
Vega
track that you'll instantly recognise...The flipside tracks are
average
tracks so buy this for the A-side only...
